Seamair Farm - Montecito, CA
This sprawling 23-acre estate was purchased by Oprah back in 2016. While the farm boasts the facilities for horses- a barn, paddocks, outdoor track- she apparently bought the farm for its agriculture. The property has 2-acres of avocado trees and numerous citrus fruit trees.
Before the purchase, the home was owned by John Charles Pritzlaff Jr. of chemical giant, Olin Corporation. While John enjoyed growing various fruits and vegetables, his wife, Mary Dell Olin, raised and trained hackney ponies.
A waste of a perfectly good hackney pony track but what can you do. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
