Bright Side Farm
Water Mill, NY // Hunter/Jumper // Designed by Dave Zublin of Old Town Barns
It wouldn't be hard to see the Bright Side at this stunning stable on Long Island.
Formerly a nursery, the 40-acre property was snapped up by equestrian and former model, Annette Roque, and her former husband, disgraced TV personality Matt Lauer. Over the next two years, she worked with Dave Zublin of Old Town Barns in Dutchess County to create a premier hunter/jumper facility.
The stable boasts 36 stalls, a 24,000 square foot indoor arena, and a tack room. Also inside is the rider lounge- a pine atrium outfitted with leather tufted sofas and decorated with photos by photographer, Bob Tabor.
Stepping outside, there are two outdoor arenas, including a three-acre derby field, in addition to a cross-country course, an all-weather walker, room for hacking, and plenty of turnout for the horses.
The stable currently offers boarding and training with Juan Estrella.
